No One is Coming to Save You
No one is coming to save you.
No one.
Not the government.
Not your partner.
Not your parents.
Not your siblings.
Not a famous celebrity.
Not the universe, God, or whatever you want to call it.
The only one who can save you is you.
Yourself.
And no one else.
And the sooner you understand this, the better.
The sooner you’ll be at peace.
The sooner you’ll be happier.
The sooner your life will make sense.
It’s too late when the negative number is bigger than the positive.
It’s too late by the time you’re burned out at your job.
It’s too late by the time you have a meltdown or a life crisis.
It’s too late by the time you fall into depression.
Life first whispers.
Then talks.
Then screams at you.
It’s your choice to listen.
Or not.
But know that not listening has consequences.
And most likely, costly ones.
Maybe even irreversible.
Don’t wait.
Start listening to what life is telling you.
Because later, it may be too late.
You can’t save your job.
You can’t save your company.
You can’t save your family.
You can’t save your friends.
You can’t save your financial goals.
Until you save yourself first.
Notice the order of things.
It’s imperative.
You must save yourself first.
Then, you can help someone, or something, else.
The price you pay for saving yourself first?
It’s insignificant.
Pennies.
Compared to the price you’d pay for letting yourself die.
Figuratively speaking.
And sometimes, literally.
It applies to your financial life.
Emotional life.
Physical life.
Spiritual life.
Relationships.
Or any other part of your life.
